Maintenance
The key to operating your WoodMaster Plus furnace most efficiently is maintenance. In addition to an annual check-up, just as other heating systems require, your owner’s manual will detail ongoing and seasonal tips and maintenance checklists specific to outdoor wood furnaces, which include:
- Fill the hopper
- The 1100 and 900 use a hopper and hold approximately 5 bushels
To Do Monthly
Inspect the furnace for:
- Creosote buildup in chimney
- Adequate door seal
- Properly working controls
